Interested teachers and staff are encouraged to submit a grant proposal online that will be evaluated by a selection committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members.

Because of the impact of the COVID pandemic on fundraising, the maximum grant for 2022 will be $2,000. Grants will be announced in April 2022.

General guidelines for submitting a proposal:

We encourage you to “look local” and be practical in what is possible in this continuing pandemic environment.
Preference is given to proposals that benefit school related activities or contribute to a teacher's professional or personal development.
Grant activities must take place after school, during school vacations or over the summer.
Grant recipients are expected to share their experiences with the Lincoln and Sudbury communities through public forums.
Current FELS board members are not eligible to apply for a grant.
